The first Shifting Harbor release is an 8" lathe cut record inside a contraption made of birch and acrylic. Ships via Priority Mail. If you live in western Oregon, contact me before ordering. There is likely a way to get you a record without paying the extra shipping costs.
The concept for the packaging was an idea to learn more about how things get made in the factory where I'm currently working. Something was in the air the day this was ran. Every step went wrong...down to the screws. Insistent on keeping the acrylic out of the landfill, all of the broken pieces were collected and sculpted into what you see. This is not what I set out to make, but the intent of what I want to convey was met.

This album hasn't left my turntable since I bought it. The landscape is etched with what has come before and looks out upon what is the next happening. Shifting Harbor
